Here are a few of our most frequently asked questions.

  • 🐾 Will I get to meet my dog walker before the walks begin?
    🐾 Yes, we arrange an initial complimentary consultation to find out about your dog and introduce your dog walker.
  • 🐾 Will I have the same walker each time?
    🐾 We will try our best to ensure you have the same walker on each occasion, we are a family run business and we hope you will get to know the whole team.
  • 🐾 Will the walks be arranged for the same time each week?
    🐾 We endeavour to keep to the set time arranged. On occasions there may be possible time constraints, therefore we ask that you keep a window of an hour open either way.
  • 🐾 Are you insured?
    🐾 Yes we are all covered under Public Liability Insurance.
  • 🐾 What is your cancellation policy?
    🐾 We ask that you give Pawz to Doorz 24 hours notification if you wish to cancel a walk or you may still be charged.
  • 🐾 How are payments handled?
    🐾 Invoices will be emailed to you the last day of the month and payment via QR code, cash or bank transfer will be required within 7 working days.
  • 🐾 Will my dog be allowed off lead?
    🐾 This will be discussed during our consultation with you and if you have signed Pawz to Doorz registration form.
  • 🐾 How many dogs are walked at one time?
    🐾 For safety reasons, a maximum of 4 dogs are walked by one handler.
  • 🐾 Do you arrange the pick up and drop off of dogs?
    🐾 We have fully fitted caged and air-conditioned large vans for the comfort and safety of your pet.
  • 🐾 Do I need to be at home when you pick up and drop off?
    🐾 No, we are all DBS checked and comply with GDPR regulations for your peace of mind.
  • 🐾 Will my dog be supervised at all times?
    🐾 Yes, we offer a bespoke service meaning the maximum of 4 dogs are walked at any one time.
  • 🐾 My dog has not been neutered. Can they still be walked?
    🐾 We can discuss this with you, although we are unable to walk bitches in season.
  • 🐾 What happens if my dog doesn't get on with the group assigned to him/her?
    🐾 We take a great deal into consideration when grouping for walks to obtain a balanced group. If there are any concerns we will assess, re-group accordingly and notify you.
  • 🐾 Do you offer services weekends and Bank Holidays?
    🐾 Currently no, with the exception of regular users we can discuss this further.
  • 🐾 If I only require occasional walks, is this something you can offer?
    🐾 Subject to space and availability, yes.
  • 🐾 Do you have a veterinary background?
    🐾 We are fully trained in Canine First Aid and Pet Psychology.
  • 🐾 Do you provide a service for all breeds of dog?
    🐾 Each dog is assessed on their own merit.
  • 🐾 Who is responsible should my dog injure another dog or person?
    🐾 Pawz to Doorz holds full Public Liability Insurance. Therefore, should any damage be caused to ourselves, property and/or other dogs, you may be held liable in the event of claim.
  • 🐾 When pet sitting, are you able to issue medication?
    🐾 This is dependant on the type of medication issued to your pet, we are happy to discuss this further with you.
  • 🐾 Would you be able to accommodate and care for my pet out of working hours?
    🐾 We are happy to discuss this with you further.
